  • Art Appreciation classes focus on building the students visual literacy in writing and verbal communication
    through a wide variety of media.
  • Clay classes learn all the steps from start to finish. Hand-building and wheel throwing techniques, Slip trailing,
    casting, and mold making techniques, Glaze and clay body chemistry, Electric (Cone 6), and Gas firing (Raku,
    horsehair)
  • Ceramic room equipment maintenance and supply orders are managed and recorded each semester. All orders are
    in line with the department budget.
